How to correctly set up your Lot Alerts to get the best results

What are Lot Alerts?

If you are limited for time to search auction catalogues each day our handy Lot Alert programme can do all the legwork for you. Lot Alerts checks UKauctioneers catalogues every 24 hours and delivers relevant item results based on your keywords directly to your inbox. (You will never receive the same lot result twice). You need to create an account to use this service. If you already have an account just log-in,
go to My Account and click on the Lot Alert tab.

Setting Up Your Lot Alerts

It's important to enter the correct keywords into the Lot Alert search

Remember that the wording that the search engine is looking for is in the lot description, so don't put in general categories like furniture or ceramics, but wardrobe, dining table and Clarice Cliff etc.

Also don't put plurals unless you specifically want more than one in the lot.

Allow for common spelling mistakes that may have made in the
catalogue description
For example search for Wedgwood AND Wedgewood just in case!

Then select either to search in "all auctions" or an auction house of your
choice or an area

Lastly select days of the week to receive alerts -
We get updated lots daily so select a number of days or all
of them so that you don't miss out.
